The PGA Tour will return to Trump Doral in Miami next year for the first time since 2016, according to Sports Business Journal.
The event at Trump Doral is set for April 27–May 3, 2026. It would fall between the Zurich Classic and the Truist Championship, pushing the CJ Cup Byron Nelson to follow the PGA Championship, with the Charles Schwab Challenge after that.
Trump Doral hosted PGA events from 1962 to 2016, including the WGC-Cadillac Championship from 2007 to 2016, before it moved to Mexico City. Adam Scott was the last winner there in 2016.
The 2022 PGA Championship was initially scheduled for Trump National Bedminster but was relocated to Southern Hills after the January 6 Capitol riots. Although it never hosted a PGA event, Bedminster has hosted two LIV Golf events and the 2017 U.S. Women’s Open. Trump Doral, bought for $150 million in 2012 and later renovated for $250 million, has hosted a LIV event each of the league’s first four years.
