Progressive socialists defend each other, no matter what country they’re from.
Democrat Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) is being torched on social media after she just defended Colombia’s far-left socialist president, Gustavo Petro, when he refused to refused to allow two U.S. military planes carrying illegal alien deportees to land over the weekend.
Petro brazenly claimed that the Colombians deserved respect, and demanded they be flown back home on a civilian flight, instead of on U.S. military planes.
President Donald Trump responded to Petro rejecting the flights with a fire and brimstone warning, announcing there would be harsh tariffs on all Colombian imports, and travel bans on Colombia’s government officials.
Colombia reportedly sends about $16 billion worth of products to the U.S. each year, including oil, flowers, coffee, and much more.
After Trump laid down the law, a fuming Petro finally backed down and agreed to allow the deportation flights to land.
However, AOC whined on social media about Trump’s threat of tariffs, claiming it would just make the price of coffee higher.
In contrast, she has never condemned what the millions of illegal aliens in the U.S. are costing American taxpayers.
“To “punish” Colombia, Trump is about to make every American pay even more for coffee. Remember: *WE* pay the tariffs, not Colombia. Trump is all about making inflation WORSE for working class Americans, not better. He’s lining the pockets of himself and the billionaire class,” she wrote.

You just might be the dumbest person in Congress.

AOC would rather have Columbia gangbangers in the country illegally than to have to pay more for coffee.
Sickening.

What are the chances @aoc admits how spectacularly wrong she was?
I’m going with zero…. https://t.co/Ad7Z7MfRAn

The woman who says she feared being raped on Jan. 6 is more worried about paying a little more for coffee than protecting American women from rape and murder by criminal illegal aliens.

So, you’re cool with criminal aliens being in the United States smuggling fentanyl, trafficking women and children, and killing Americans?
And you want us to believe you care if a cup of coffee is another quarter? Give us a break.

Americans may just have to par more for coffee for Communist Democrats’ open border disaster!

I love that the primary concern after a country refuses to take back their own criminal citizens is the price of a caramel macchiato. https://t.co/DHBCTPUh8E

Criminal gangbangers terrorizing your community < potentially 25% increase to your Starbucks latte

Who cares. I don’t drink coffee and I rather our country is safe. People are so used to the weakness of Biden they are willing to accept harm to the country for coffee and flowers. Ridiculous.

The Associated Press explained:
Colombia has traditionally been the U.S.’s top ally in Latin America. But their relationship has strained since Petro, a former guerrilla, became Colombia’s first leftist president in 2022 and sought distance from the U.S.
