FROM NEW YORK POST: “CBS Saturday Morning” is poised to become the first major casualty of the sweeping cuts hitting CBS News on Wednesday, The Post has learned.

The 28-year-old show, which airs nationwide on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. ET, has been slated for a radical revamp by CBS News editor in chief Bari Weiss and the network’s president Tom Cibrowski, sources close to the situation said.

Co-anchors Michelle Miller, Dana Jacobson and the show’s executive producer Brian Applegate have been informed and are on their way out, sources close to the situation said.

Sources said CBS is also canceling “CBS Mornings Plus” and  “CBS Evening News Plus”

“CBS Mornings Plus” is co-hosted by Adriana Diaz and Tony Dokoupil. Dokoupil is in the running to host “CBS Evening News.”

“CBS Evening News Plus” is a streaming offshoot of “CBS Evening News.” Its co-anchor, John Dickerson, said he is leaving the network and his co-host Maurice DuBois is also expected to leave.
