A LITTLE HUMOR: VP Vance jokingly suggests a new job for Sec. Rubio

1

After ABC and Disney announced Wednesday that far-left host Jimmy Kimmel’s late night show has been taken off the air “indefinitely,” Vice President JD Vance jokingly suggested Secretary of State Marco Rubio could take it over.

Kimmel got the boot after sparking massive outrage over his false and defamatory statements regarding the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.  His ouster then prompted major meltdowns from many on the left, including former president Barak Obama.

But Vance had an idea….

“Everyone please congratulate @marcorubio, the new host of ABC’s late night show!” Vance mockingly suggested in a post on X Thursday morning.

Vance’s joke was in reference to a humorous comment Rubio made on Labor Day, when he said during a Cabinet Meeting with President Trump, “For me personally, this is the most meaningful Labor Day of my life as someone with four jobs…”

In addition to his key role as U.S. Secretary of State, Rubio has been tasked with filling the roles of interim national security adviser, acting administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and acting archivist of the National Archives and Records Administration.

Rubio later turned over the USAID job to Russ Vought, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget.

Meanwhile, Rubio is already plenty busy. This week, he joined President Trump during the State Visit to the U.K.

Conservatives are reacting to Vance’s joking suggestion that Rubio could take over Kimmel’s late night show on ABC.
