From Fox Business:
Fox News spoke to a Stryker employee based in Boise, Idaho, who confirmed the attack and said they were unable to access their network.
The employee said they were advised to avoid connecting to any Stryker VPN networks or software on any device, and coworkers’ work phones were wiped Wednesday morning.
Stryker confirmed a global network disruption due to a cyberattack.
“We have no indication of ransomware or malware and believe the incident is contained,” Stryker told users. “Our teams are working rapidly to understand the impact of the attack on our systems.”
A pro-Iranian hacktivist group announced on social media that Stryker was a “Zionist-rooted corporation” and claimed responsibility for an attack on 200,000 systems and the extraction of 50 terabytes of data.
US medical technology maker Stryker was hacked in an attack that’s crippled the company’s global operations, according to a person familiar with the matter and a memo seen by Bloomberg News https://t.co/2T0FsKctf0
