BOOM! DOJ charges 30 more people involved in storming of Minnesota church

Another 30 people have been charged in the storming of a Minneapolis area church last month, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced on Friday.

A screaming anti-ICE mob burst into the Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota on Sunday, January 18, during the middle of their services, harassing congregants and terrifying children.

In a post on X Friday afternoon, Bondi announced:

Today, @thejusticedept unsealed an indictment charging 30 more people who took part in the attack on Cities Church in Minnesota. At my direction, federal agents have already arrested 25 of them, with more to come throughout the day.

YOU CANNOT ATTACK A HOUSE OF WORSHIP. If you do so, you cannot hide from us — we will find you, arrest you, and prosecute you. This Department of Justice STANDS for Christians and all Americans of faith. 🇺🇸

FBI Director Kash Patel also released a statement:

Today: 30 more individuals have been indicted under the FACE Act in connection to the January 18 targeting of Cities Church in Minnesota last month. As of this morning, the FBI executed a joint operation with our @HSI_HQ partners arresting over 20 of these individuals – with additional arrests to come.

This makes 39 indictments in the Cities Church case total so far, including the arrest of Don Lemon and multiple alleged leaders of the riot last month.

Let it be known: This FBI will never tolerate anyone who targets, intimidates, or attacks Americans peacefully exercising their right to worship freely. Thank you @AGPamBondi and @TheJusticeDept for your relentless pursuit of this case.

ICE was also involved in the arrests – which indicate some of those arrested may be suspected illegal aliens. ICE announced Friday afternoon:

An ICE HSI-led investigation has led to the arrest warrants for 30 additional agitators who illegally rioted at the Cities Church on January 18.

In the United States, the right to worship freely is sacred. And under President Trump, attacks on churches will NEVER be tolerated. Already, we have more taken than 25 into custody.

HSI’s hard work has led to the arrest warrants of a total of 39 of these agitators. They have been referred to prosecution to the Department of Justice.

Other individuals previously arrested over the incident include:

  • Nekima Levy Armstrong
  • Chauntyll Allen
  • William Kelly
  • Don Lemon
  • Trahern Jeen Crews
  • Georgia Fort
  • Jamael Lydell Lundy
  • Ian Davis Austin
  • Jerome Deangelo Richardson
