President Donald Trump is speaking at a White House Ceremony to honor angel families Monday morning, in recognition of the many American citizens who have been killed by illegal aliens.
The president will sign a proclamation Monday designation February 22 as “Angel Family Day.” The date was chosen in remembrance of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley, who was killed on February 22, 2024.
The ceremony is behind held in the East Room of the White House shortly after 10 a.m. Monday morning.
Trump is also expected to highlight his work to secure the border and deport illegal aliens from the U.S. in his State of the Union address Tuesday night.

Earlier Monday morning, the White House shared a New York Post article featuring an angel mother with Trump and wrote, “This is our why. HAPPENING SOON AT THE WHITE HOUSE: President Donald J. Trump will honor the family of Laken Riley and other victims of crimes committed by illegal immigrants by declaring an Angel Family Day. ❤️”
