From ABC News: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Friday it is “still too early to draw conclusions” from the trilateral talks taking place between Ukraine, Russia and the United States.
Delegations from the three countries are in the United Arab Emirates for what officials say is first trilateral meeting since Russia launched a full-scale invasion on Ukraine almost four years ago in February 2022.
The talks in Abu Dhabi, expected to extend into Saturday, are at a technical level and do not include heads of state but is still a notable diplomatic engagement amid the ongoing fighting.
“They are talking about the parameters of ending the war,” Zelenskyy said during his daily evening address.
Participants include U.S. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll, who is serving as the Pentagon’s representative.
