From Washington Examiner: A Wisconsin man pleaded guilty on Thursday to killing his parents last year and stealing their money to fund his plot to assassinate President Donald Trump, who survived two assassination attempts before returning to the White House for a second term.
Nikita Casap, 18, entered his guilty plea on two counts of first-degree intentional homicide in Waukesha County Circuit Court. The defendant is accused of murdering his stepfather, Donald Mayer, and his mother, Tatiana Casap, last February.
Casap shot his stepfather and mother at their home in Waukesha on or around Feb. 11, 2025. He was arrested in Kansas on Feb. 28, 2025, after fleeing in his stepfather’s vehicle with $14,000 in cash, jewelry, passports, his stepfather’s gun, and the family dog. For nearly two weeks before embarking on the cross-country road trip, the teenager lived with his parents’ decomposing bodies.
He was in contact with an unknown Russian individual, who talked about Casap’s departure from the United States to Ukraine via text messages.
According to authorities, Casap’s motive for murder was money, which was to be used to fund the assassination plot against Trump, which included a drone and explosives. He wrote about the plan in a manifesto, revealed in a federal search warrant.
In the plea deal with prosecutors, seven other charges related to the crime were dropped.
Casap faces two sentences of life in prison. He will be sentenced on March 5.

Wow. There was ANOTHER assassination plot against @realDonaldTrump and AGAIN there’s a very weird Ukraine angle. The suspect, Nikita Casap, killed his parents for cash to pay for a military drone to kill Trump. He planned an escape to Ukraine and was talking to a Ukrainian.
