President Donald Trump is speaking at the Mount Airy Casino Resort in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania Tuesday evening.
The purposes of the event is to deliver an economic message about ending the inflation crisis.
Earlier on Tuesday, a Reuters/Ipsos survey was released which was conducted Dec. 3–8, showing Trump with an approval rating of 41%, and 57% disapproving. This is up from a poll taken in mid-November which showed Trump with a 38%-60% approval/disapproval.
Ahead of Trump’s arrival in Pennsylvania, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told the waiting audience, “This is a formula for prosperity: lowering prices, raising incomes… The benefits of [President Trump’s] agenda are now rippling through the economy — and those ripples will become waves as his agenda gathers force in 2026.”
