From DAILY MAIL: Podcaster Tim Pool was recently out late when a group of young men recognized him in the street and made an approach to talk about current events.
One of them asked him to react to wild claims circulating online that his former friend and fellow podcaster Candace Owens had gone into hiding after uncovering an assassination plot that Israeli and French-connected operatives had killed Charlie Kirk, the founder of the student group Turning Point USA.
Pool told the Daily Mail that he assured the men the claims were not correct – and that they were being manipulated.
For weeks, he says, he had watched in dismay as Owens led her viewers down a rabbit hole of conspiracy theories regarding Kirk’s assassination on September 10 on the campus of Utah Valley University.
After taking a Thanksgiving holiday break, Owens returned to her podcast to announce with “full confidence” that Kirk had been “betrayed by the leadership of Turning Point USA” and his death had been planned by French-connected interests. These same assassins were also plotting her murder, she said.
Then Owens urged Turning Point donors to end their support for the organization and to demand their money back.
“I am making a personal plea to every well-meaning person who donated to this Godforsaken organization to request a refund,” she said on Tuesday. “You were lied to. And leadership knew.”
Pool responded to the plea, saying, “She crossed the line when she said that Turning Point betrayed Charlie and to ask for a refund from ‘this Godforsaken organization.’ The implication is that they killed Charlie, and now she’s actively telling people to basically destroy them. She’s actively now trying to destroy everything Charlie built.”
