Psalm 34:15
The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry.
One of Satan’s most commonly-used tactics is simply to try to discourage us, and to make us think that God doesn’t hear our prayers or care about us. The enemy of our soul wants to convince us that we aren’t worth saving, or that life is pointless and eternity is hopeless.
But this verse assures us that God’s ears are always open to our cry. He hears our prayers, and there is nothing God’s eyes don’t see. No matter situation we find ourselves in, when we come to the Lord with an honest heart, He cares.
“Dear Heavenly Father, help us each day to remember that we matter to You, and that Your eyes are always upon us. Help us to humbly seek Your help and guidance each day, for Jesus’ sake. Amen.”
