Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), once a MAGA firebrand and staunch Trump supporter, now appears to be leaning farther left by the day.

On Tuesday, Greene cozied up the the liberal co-hosts of ABC’s “The View,” a fiery anti-Trump show.

From Fox News: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., stood by her controversial stances against the Republican Party, including President Donald Trump, on ABC’s “The View” Tuesday morning.

The Georgia representative surprised the hosts of the liberal daytime talk show by having a cordial political discussion about her beliefs and recent breaks with her own party over the ongoing government shutdown.

Co-host Joy Behar asked Greene about reported tension between Greene and Trump, with some outlets suggesting the president has been frustrated with Greene as of late.

“That’s OK,” Greene said. “Donald Trump, he usually yells at everybody, so we’re all used to it. But he’s the president of the United States.”

During the episode, Greene condemned the government shutdown, and blamed it on her GOP colleague, House Speaker Mike Johnson, claiming he and other Republicans are at fault for failing to address healthcare issues important to Democrats.

Greene also slammed President Trump for endorsing Andrew Cuomo in the New York City mayor’s race.

Greene also slammed those who criticized her for coming on The View, and blasted some of the GOP leadership in the House and Senate as “weak, Republican men.”

During the episode, co-host Sunny Hostin told Greene, “I’m sitting here just stumped. You know, because you are a very different person than I thought you were.”

“It’s like you’re on the left now,” Hostin added.

In what appeared to be a jab at President Trump, Greene said, “… women to women, we need to pave a new path for this country… our beautiful country, our red, white and blue flag is being ripped to shreds, and it takes women of maturity to sew it back together.”

Later, Greene claimed in a a Real America’s Voice interview that she’s NOT angry with President Trump, but is frustrated with Congress.

“My frustration isn’t with President Trump. It’s with Congress. The House should be in session doing the job the American people elected us to do! Senate Democrats could end this shutdown today. But Republicans could too. We can use the nuclear option and end the filibuster to reopen the government and pass the America First agenda. The American people gave us the majority. It’s time we actually get back to work!! 🇺🇸” she declared.

She clarified that she had called for Republicans to end the filibuster a month ago.
