CHILLING: Mamdani Slammed for Posing with Imam Tied to ’93 terror attack in US

From Breitbart: A post by radical Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani, the frontrunner to become New York City’s next mayor, ignited a firestorm after he proudly shared photos of himself smiling beside Imam Siraj Wahhaj — an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing — with lawmakers and public figures warning that jihad is coming to New York unless voters wake up.

Mamdani posted the photos to his own X account, writing that he had “the pleasure of meeting with Imam Siraj Wahhaj,” whom he praised as “one of the nation’s foremost Muslim leaders and a pillar of the Bed-Stuy community for nearly half a century.”

The New York Post, which reported on the image the next day, filled in what Mamdani’s caption left out — noting Wahhaj was named by prosecutors as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing that killed six people, had preached that homosexuality is a “disease,” and once called for an unarmed “army of 10,000 men” to wage a gun-free jihad through New York City.

By Saturday morning, national and local officials were blasting the Democratic nominee for posing arm-in-arm with a figure linked to terror and hate, warning that his embrace of extremism was a direct threat to New York’s security.

Journalist Daniel Greenfield shared a video and warned, “Here’s Mamdani’s Imam, Siraj Wahhaj, calling America “filthy” and “sick”, saying it’s an honor to die in Jihad and saying that getting involved in “politics is a weapon in the cause of Islam”.”

Journalist Andy Ngo responded by sharing chilling details: “Imam Siraj Wahhaj was a co-conspirator of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing jihadist attack who escaped justice. In 2023, his son and two daughters were convicted at trial for their role in planning Islamic terror attacks while living in an Islamic separatist compound in New Mexico. They killed a young child there.”

Journalist Laura Loomer also blasted out a serious warning:

I broke the story MONTHS ago about Mamdani’s ties to Wahhaj. Siraj Wahhaj Sr., was an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. He has donated to Mamdani’s campaign.

And he is STILL an imam in New York City to this day.

In case you thought it couldn’t get worse, Siraj Wahhaj’s son, Siraj Wahhaj Jr ran a jihadi compound in New Mexico where he trained kids to commit terrorist attacks.

He and his associates were arrested and jailed for LIFE for training kids on a compound in New Mexico to kill Americans. Authorities said they stockpiled weapons and planned to commit mass murder in the name of Islam. The remains of dead children were also found on the compound.

These are the people who are backing Mamdani. This is who’s trying to take over New York City. This is what happens when we let jihadists into our country. New York City is about to be engulfed by Islamic terrorism.

Rep. Brandon Gill (R-Tex.) responded by throwing up a chilling quote by the Muslim imam Mamdani admires so much.

“Where ever you came from, you came to America. And you came for one reason- for one reason only – to establish Allah’s deen…. You get involved in politics because politics are a weapon to use in the cause of Islam.” – Imam Siraj Wahhaj, 1991

It gets even WORSE. According to a CBS News report from August 2018, Imam Wahhaj’s SON, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, was busted conducting a weapons training progra with assault rifles at the compound near the Colorado border that was raided by authorities. All the adults running the program were described as Muslim extremists.

Vice president JD Vance weighed in on Mamdani’s photo with the terrorist, writing, “I’ve been reliably informed that Democrats are opposed to any kind of political violence, so I look forward to them universally condemning Zohran Mamdani for campaigning with an unindicted co-conspirator in a terrorist plot that killed 6 New Yorkers.”

Sen. Ted Cruz warned New York voters, “You are being LIED TO, and let’s be honest—you know you’re being lied to.”

Will Chamberlain asked, “What would the first responders who died on 9/11 think about the idea that the city they served was going to be run by an Ugandan Muslim mayor who pals around with unindicted co-conspirators from the first World Trade Center attack?”

Free Beacon reporter Chuck Ross warned, “This “pillar” of the community was an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bobbing and testified as a character witness for bombing mastermind “Blind Sheikh” Rahman.”

Retired FBI agent Frank Pellegrino, who investigated the Feb. 26, 1993 terror attack at the World Trade Center, told Fox News,”Zohran Mamdani’s embrace of Siraj Wahhaj is an example of Mamdani’s ignorance of history. Either he doesn’t know who Wahhaj is or he doesn’t care. Whichever it is, Mamdani looks foolish.”
