Jack Dorsey, the former CEO of Twitter, made a stunning “endorsement” for a Republican congressman who he says should run for president.
Dorsey is throwing his support behind Rep. Thomas Massie, 54, of Kentucky, who has served in U.S. Congress since 2012.
Massie is known as frequently going “rogue” and refusing to vote with Republicans at times. He has been described as a libertarian Republican, and has been a frequent critic of President Donald Trump.
Massie has not announced any plans to run for President.
Sunday evening, Dorsey wrote in a post on X, “.@RepThomasMassie for president.”
Massie responded to the suggestion, writing, “I doubt I’ll run for POTUS, but I appreciate the support @jack. I’d be happy if we could just get 4 or 5 more voices in Congress who don’t always just do what their party tells them.”

Below are just some of the reactions pouring in on social media:
I wonder what Rep. Massie has to say about the fact that you oversaw the worst period of censorship in American history?

Considering you are opposed to free speech, based on your actions to weaponize your platform against your political adversaries, perhaps you should sit this one out, my friend.

Remember when you banned @realDonaldTrump from Twitter. 🤣

Ya let’s listen to the guy who censored half the conservatives on this platform
Great idea
