NO ACCIDENT: Son of fashion tycoon being probed as suspect in horrific death

FROM NY POST: The son and heir of the billionaire founder of Mango, Isak Andic, is being probed as a suspect in the fashion tycoon’s death — after he plunged from a cliff last year while the pair were out hiking.

Andic, the owner of the global fashion empire, died after falling more than 320 ft in the Montserrat caves near Barcelona last December in what authorities described at the time as an accident.

But following a 10-month probe, multiple local media outlets reported Thursday that the case has since shifted to a possible homicide investigation – and his son, Jonathan Andic, 44, is now officially being looked at.

Jonathan was the sole witness to the tragedy. He said he was walking ahead of his father on the Les Feixades trail. When he heard stones falling, he turned in time to see his father falling off the edge. Officials tapped Jonathan as a potential suspect after he made contradictory statements to police, the La Vanguardia newspaper reported, citing sources.

Sources say Jonathan’s story may not match the forensic evidence police have found. Investigators have reportedly uncovered a “series of clues” that seems to indicate the deat was no “mere accident.”
