Democrat senators have repeatedly refused to support the clean funding bill put forth by Republicans, resulting in a government shutdown that has now been lasted for over two weeks.
Even Democrat voters are now getting fed-up over the situation, and some are pointing fingers directly at the Democrat leaders they had voted for.
One man called into C-Span from California this week, and declared he is getting ready to leave the Democrat Party.
“I think I’m gonna be leaving the Democrat Party because this happens too often, where they’re blaming the opposite party, when they know they can do the right thing,” the man declared.
“They need to do the right thing and reopen this government, instead of keeping it shut down like they’re hijacking the American people. We’ve seen them vote the right way when they’re in power, so why the hell can’t they vote the right way when they’re not in power?” he demanded.
“Get this government back open and get the American people what they deserve,” he said, adding, “This is basically a Schumer shutdown from what I’ve seen.”
The man blasted the Democrats for “whining and crying and blaming.”
