FROM DAILY MAIL: A Disney superfan vanished from her home in Illinois, only to be discovered in the most tragic circumstances at Walt Disney World in Orlando.
Summer Equitz, 31, killed herself at the Contemporary Resort Hotel at the resort on Tuesday night, the Daily Mail has learned.
Orange County Sheriff’s Office said the death was a suicide and that she died due to multiple blunt impact injuries, with no further details given by the medical examiner.
Prior to Equitz’s death, a missing persons page was created on a Reddit forum for Disney fans, apparently by a relative.
The post urgently asked users to contact the police if they saw Equitz at the resort. It said she left her home in Naperville and booked a flight to Florida without telling anyone.
The post was removed after news spread online that someone had tragically taken their own life at the four-star hotel on Tuesday night.
