From Breitbart: French First Lady Brigitte Macron will present photographic evidence to a U.S. court to prove she is a woman as part of her defamation lawsuit against Candace Owens.
Mrs Macron and her husband, President Emmanuel Macron, filed suit in July over “substantial reputational damage” against Owens addressing what they called repeated “falsehoods” that Mrs Macron is in fact secretly a man, as Breitbart News reported.
Owens has propagated unsubstantiated claims the first lady was born male and used to go by the name Jean-Michel Trogneux — who in reality is Mrs Macron’s older brother.
The conservative commentator hit back at the Macron legal action after it was filed, calling it an attempt to silence her and hide the truth.
Tom Clare, a lawyer representing the Macrons in the case, confirmed that they would be supplying pictures of Mrs Macron pregnant and raising her children.
Brigitte Macron is 72, while her husband is 47. She is his former high school teacher and nearly 25 years older than him. From Wikipedia: They met during a theatre workshop that she was giving when he was a 15-year-old student and she was a 39-year-old teacher. A romantic relationship started later, and his parents attempted to separate the couple by sending him away to Paris to finish the final year of his schooling, as they felt his youth made this relationship inappropriate. (The age of consent in France is 15.) The couple reunited after Macron graduated, and were married in 2007. She has three children from a previous marriage; he has no children of his own.
Meanwhile, Owens is not backing down on her allegations, and wrote in one post on X Thursday, “This is verifiably false. She isn’t suing me for saying she’s a man. She has never sued anyone ever for saying she’s a dude. Because she is one.”
