BREAKING: FBI gives update on evidence in Charlie Kirk’s assassination and whether it links to Tyler Robinson

FROM NEW YORK POST: DNA found at the spot where Charlie Kirk’s assassin hid has been positively matched to the suspect, Tyler Robinson — who also wrote about his plans to “take out” the conservative debater, FBI Director Kash Patel revealed early Monday.

DNA matching Robinson, 22, was found on a towel that covered the murder weapon when it was ditched — as well as a screwdriver found in the sniper’s nest on a roof, Patel told “Fox & Friends.”

Further DNA found on the bolt-action hunting rifle believed to have been used in last Wednesday’s shooting is still being analyzed to determine its links to Robinson, the FBI boss said.

Robinson is not cooperating with authorities, Patel confirmed.

Patel applauded the job the FBI has done with the interrogation and in finding Robinson in 33 hours.

“If you look at historical cases like [Luigi] Mangione and the Boston bombing, those two manhunts took five days,” he said. “We apprehended our suspect in 33 hours because we were transparent and open.”

Meanwhile, a report claims that the trans roommate Robinson “hates conservatives and Christians,” according to one of his relatives, which may give some clue as to a motive for the assassination.

From Fox News:

The 22-year-old, who has not been charged and whose name has not yet been released by authorities, was in a romantic relationship with suspect Tyler Robinson, also 22, according to the relative. She said he is in the process of transitioning from male to female.

The woman, who asked to remain anonymous, told Fox News Digital her relative began to act differently when he turned 18 and said that he developed a hatred of Christians and conservatives.

He hates conservatives and Christians,” the relative said. “He hated us. He was not raised that way, but he, over the years, has become really detached [and] been radicalized.”

“He has obviously gotten progressively worse the last year or two,” the relative said, adding that he’s “always very angry.”
