On Monday’s episode of ABC’s “The View,” Whoopi Goldberg criticized Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. amidst his department’s search to safeguard the lives of American children.

Goldberg claimed he was “playing Russian roulette” with children’s lives. She also warned that schools are breeding grounds for illness, with kids constantly spreading germs, and argued that schools know what they’re doing with their mandates.

“There are reasons that people put these mandates in place,” said Goldberg. “Now, you want to get rid of all of them. You’re basically saying, let’s see what happens if your kid goes to school with other kids.”

“And what about the teachers in the school?” added Sunny Hostin.

Goldberg continued her tirade: “And your grandparents, who are elderly, are in with your grandkids. So now, you’re saying, y’all don’t care. So what do we do?”

Co-host Joy Behar asked why four doctors in the Senate had supported advancing RFK Jr.’s nomination. Alyssa Farah Griffin replied that she believes they now regret the decision.

During the opening segment of the show’s 29th season, Goldberg also attacked RFK Jr.’s statements on COVID-19 vaccine deaths. Notably, she exhibits trouble reading from her note cards during the segment:
