Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is testifying before the Senate Finance Committee Thursday morning.
Kennedy is responding to questions about his “Make America Healthy Again” agenda, and is facing pushback from Democrats.
Over 1,000 current and former employees across the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) signed a letter on Wednesday morning calling for Kennedy to resign.
Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk reacted, writing, “If 1,000 employees who helped lock down America, close schools, mandate Covid shots, masks, and social distancing want RFK fired, it’s a badge of honor. RFK Jr. remains one of the admin’s most popular cabinet secretaries.”
The hearing Thursday morning is already getting HOT:

.@SecKennedy scorches @RonWyden: “You’ve sat in that chair for how long — 20, 25 years? — while the chronic disease in our children went up to 76%, and you said nothing. You never asked the question, ‘Why is this happening?'” pic.twitter.com/eSmXhlKhof
