STAY TUNED… Trump announces plan to help Republicans win the Midterm elections

President Donald Trump announced Thursday that he’s thinking of doing something that’s never been done before, to help Republicans win in the midterms.

Normally, a Republican National Convention is held every four years, for the purpose of officially nominating the presidential and vice presidential candidates, adopting the party platform, and to help unify the party ahead of the election.

Now, Trump is floating the idea of holding a convention ahead of the Midterm elections as well.

In a Truth Social post Thursday morning, Trump announced:

The Republican Party is doing really well. Millions of people have joined us in our quest to MAKE AMERICA, GREAT AGAIN. We won every aspect of the Presidential Election and, based on the great success we are having, are poised to WIN BIG IN THE MIDTERMS.

We have raised far more money than the Democrats, and are having a great time fixing all of the Country Destroying mistakes made by the Biden Administration, and watching the USA heal and prosper. The results are incredible, a record pace!!!

In that light, I am thinking of recommending a National Convention to the Republican Party, just prior to the Midterms. It has never been done before. STAY TUNED!!! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Steve Yates of the Heritage Foundation praised the move, writing, “As a former RNC member, this strikes me as a shrewd move to nationalize the mid-term elections around Trump/MAGA policies and candidates. Kind of amazing that no “expert” or “leader” has come up with a way to do that effectively since @newtgingrich and the ’94 revolution.”
