President Donald Trump will be delivering an announcement from the Oval Office at noon Easter Time Friday.
The purpose of the announcement is still a mystery, as no topic has been disclosed.
It has been a very busy week for the president. One week ago today, he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska, and then on Monday he hosted 8 European leaders at the White House, in efforts to help work out a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine.
The federal takeover of Washington, D.C. is underway, as Trump brought in the National Guard to help local law enforcement remove the homeless encampments littering the city, and get crime under control.
Trump has also received some good news on legal matters this week. On Wednesday, a federal appeals court ruled in favor of allowing the Trump administration to terminate Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for more than 60,000 migrants from three countries: Honduras, Nicaragua and Nepal.
A New York appeals court panel threw out the massive civil fraud judgement against him, in the case brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James.
On Thursday, the Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to cancel hundreds of millions of dollars in National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants linked to diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
Friday morning, Trump wrote on Truth Social, “The United States is the “Hottest” Country anywhere in the World. There is no other Country that is even close…And just think, one year ago, we were a “DEAD” Country, with no hope of ever seeing GREATNESS AGAIN! But that all changed on Election Day, November 5th, 2024. LANDSLIDE!!!”
“MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he added.
