PULLS NO PUNCHES: Trump Delivers Harsh Assessment Of London Mayor Right To Prime Minister’s Face

From Daily Mail: President Donald Trump said point-blank on Monday that London Mayor Sadiq Khan is a “nasty person” while sitting right next to United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Trump told reporters in Turnberry, Scotland, that he plans to visit London, England, even though he believes Khan has done a “terrible job” as mayor. Starmer defended the London mayor by calling him a “friend,” though Trump still did not hold back.

“I’m not a fan of your mayor. I think he’s done a terrible job, the mayor of London. [He] is a nasty person,” Trump said. “I think he’s done a terrible job, but I would certainly visit London, yeah,” Trump continued.

Trump and Khan have held longstanding resentments against each other since his first term. In 2019, Khan compared Trump to the “fascists of the 20th century” in an op-ed where he lamented the president’s visit to the United Kingdom. In response, Trump called the London mayor a “stone cold loser” and criticized his handling of the city’s problems.

Starmer responded, saying Khan is “a friend of mine, actually.”
