A new Nike ad has prompted hope that the nation is returning to sanity.
In the ad, Scottie Scheffler, a professional PGA Tour golfer, is seen with his son on a golf course.
“Priorities unchanged. Another major secured,” the ad says. “The wins keep coming on and off the course for Scottie Scheffler.”

The family-focused and innocent nature of the ad has social media users reflecting on Nike ads of the recent past, including one featuring controversial influencer Dylan Mulvaney, a trans female “model” who Nike inexplicably used for a sports bra ad.
Other ads have seemed inappropriate and sexually suggestive.
On Breitbart’s “Alex Marlow Show” on Friday, host and Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow noted, “Nike, which used to put out ads of homely, overweight women in obscure sports, now they’ve got this family guy who happens to be a straight white Christian who says — it’s a picture of him with his son saying, you’ve already won…and it’s a beautiful ad. It’s profound. … I hate that it was Nike that did it because it’s so good.”
He called it a “perfect” ad.
One user on X weighed in, comparing past ads to the sweet new ad. They noted, “Nike in 2023: A man in a sports bra. Nike in 2025: Scottie Scheffler with his son. We are winning the culture war.”
Outkick made a similar comparison.
“Two years after Nike partnered with Dylan Mulvaney for a sports bra campaign, it’s now posting a pro-family ad to celebrate Scottie Scheffler’s win at The Open,” the Outlet wrote on X. “A long way to go, but sanity may be returning.”
Scrolling through Nike’s X account reveals other encouraging ads. Examples follow.
