Jeffrey Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell has been granted limited immunity by the Department of Justice to answer questions.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche grilled Maxwell for about nine hours over two days in hopes that he could gain more information about Epstein and any others who may have committed crimes in relation to the pair.
Limited immunity is a common feature of an interview between the government and someone behind bars. Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking underage girls.
David Markus, Maxwell’s attorney, said the convict “didn’t hold anything back” as she answered questions about “maybe 100 different people,”
Maxwell isn’t expected to receive anything in return for her testimony, Markus said.
