From the Daily Caller: The Department of Justice (DOJ) is investigating whether a Muslim advocacy organization it previously linked to Hamas should maintain eligibility to receive taxpayer funds, according to emails obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.
The DOJ’s Executive Office for Immigration Review said June 30 that it was currently probing a complaint accusing the California chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) of irregularities in its financial reporting and support for terrorism. The review centers around federal funding California has allocated for immigration-related services to CAIR, a group that high-profile Democrats have embraced for years as a force for civil rights.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) announced last month, “In the coming days, I will be circulating and re-introducing a modernized version of the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act, which I have been pushing for my entire Senate career.”

It’s been 170 days into President Trump’s second term, and still no foreign terrorist designation for the Muslim Brotherhood or Hamas-linked CAIR. Let that sink in.
But here’s what has happened:
- The U.S. removed al-Qaeda’s Syrian branch from the terror list.
- Two dangerous Islamic supremacists, Hamza Yusuf and Ismail Royer, were quietly appointed to the White House Religious Liberty Advisory Board.
- And thanks to Pam Bondi, the DOJ’s FARA unit has been weakened, making it even harder to go after foreign-funded influence operations, the very lifeblood of Islamic groups like CAIR.
Banning the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR isn’t some radical ask, it’s the bare minimum! If we can’t even do that, how the hell are we supposed to stop the Islamization of our country?
And don’t forget, we had four years before to get this done. So what’s the excuse now? Someone explain it to me. Because America is running out of time.
