First Lady Melania Trump, who has stayed mostly in the background since President Trump was re-elected to the Oval Office, visited a children’s hospital in Washington, D.C. on Thursday.
At the Children’s National Hospital, Mrs. Trump brought gifts to young patients, spent time working on art projects with a group of children, and helped the children place American flags and other July 4th decorations in the hospital garden.
The White House Rapid Response team posted videos on X of the First Lady’s sweet interactions with the children.
