NEWS ALERT: CBP releases stunning new data on numbers of illegal aliens released into U.S.

From Breitbart: In May 2024, the Biden administration admitted more than 62,000 migrants into the U.S. who illegally crossed the border between ports of entry. Under the Trump administration, one year later, that number fell to zero. At the same time, illegal border crossings fell by nearly 93 percent compared to the same period last year.

“Under the leadership of this administration, CBP has received historic support resulting in another 93% decrease in illegal crossings along the southwest border this month when compared with last year,” Pete Flores, Acting Commissioner of CBP, said in a written statement. “Border numbers continue to trend at historic lows, reinforcing the sustained success of our enforcement efforts in securing the homeland and protecting American communities.”

The May Southwest Land Border Encounters report from CBP confirmed Breitbart Texas’s report from earlier this month showing the apprehension of a little more than 8,500 migrants who illegally crossed the border in May. The official reports show the arrest of 8,725 migrants. This is down by 93 percent from the prior year, when agents encountered nearly 118,000 migrants.

In May of last year, our of the nearly 118,000 illegal aliens caught crossing the southern border between ports of entry, the Biden administration released more than 62,000 of them into the United States.

In contrast, out of the 8,725 illegal aliens caught at the southern border last month, the Trump administration released NONE of them into the U.S.

It gets even better. Border Czar Tom Homan announced a record-breaking number Tuesday evening. He wrote:

President Trump’s leadership has resulted in the most secure border in this nation’s history. In the last 24 hours the Border Patrol encountered a total of 95 illegal aliens across the entire southern border. That is the lowest number EVER recorded. Compare that to the Biden Administration who surpassed more than 10,000 per day.

On top of that, they released the vast majority into the US. How many were released under Trump for May? Zero. Compare that to the 62,000 aliens Biden released in May of last year.

To continue this great work and make it more permanent, we need the Big Beautiful Bill passed so we can finish the job, to include the biggest deportation operation the American people voted for. God bless the men and women of CBP and ICE. President Trump is the Game Changer!

Fox News reporter Bill Melugin reacted, “ZERO releases of illegal aliens into the US during the month of May by Border Patrol. Why does this matter? I am not aware of a single illegal alien being arrested for an egregious crime against an American after being caught & released at the border under the new Trump admin in the last 5 months. Catch and release is over. A complete 180 from what we saw at the border during the Biden admin.”

And, lest we forget, Melugin still has pinned to the top of his X feed a video from Lukeville, Arizona in December 2023, where he reported on the mass invasion that occurred during the Biden administration.

Rep. Eli Crane commented on the comparison of Biden releasing 62,000 illegal aliens into the U.S. in May of last year, to the current “zero” number.

“All we needed was a new POTUS. 🇺🇸,” Crane wrote.

Vice President JD Vance replied, “It really is incredible how widespread illegal immigration was a policy choice of the Biden admin. It was happening by design.”
