From Daily Mail: The Trump administration has recovered a cell phone and hard drives used by Dr Anthony Fauci during the Covid pandemic, the president’s FBI chief has revealed.
On the latest episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, FBI director Kash Patel said there had been ‘a great breakthrough’ in the government’s investigation into the origins of Covid pandemic and America’s response.
He said investigators had struggled to locate the devices Fauci used during his time as chief White House medical advisor during the pandemic, which could provide insight into key decision-making on measures like lockdowns, masking and the links between Fauci’s former department and the Chinese lab where Covid is feared to have been leaked.
Patel did not share important details, such as how they got the device, when it was used, or how they know it was Fauci’s.
Patel said the phone may not contain “everything,” and that incriminating information may not be found, but he said it was still “a victory for the American people” as his team examines the data on the device.
