A former lawyer for the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein is speaking out, after billionaire Elon Musk blasted out an allegation on X Thursday, claiming President Donald Trump is listed “in the Epstein files.”
As his very public spat with President Trump was playing out on social media Thursday afternoon, Musk finally blurted out in a post on X, “Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”
This prompted many Democrats to start calling for the Epstein files to be released, while conservatives slammed Musk, saying he crossed the line and took this way too far, and most are pointing out that if that was true, Democrats would have released that information in a heartbeat when they were trying to defeat Trump.
Criminal defense lawyer David Schoen decided to set the record straight.
“I can tell you unequivocally as someone who would know that President Trump never did anything wrong with Jeffrey Epstein,” Schoen declared.

“I was hired to lead Jeffrey Epstein’s defense as his criminal lawyer 9 days before he died. He sought my advice for months before that. I can say authoritatively, unequivocally, and definitively that he had no information to hurt President Trump. I specifically asked him!” Schoen added.
