Minnesota’s Democrat governor Tim Walz, Kamala Harris’ running mate in the 2024 president election, is being blasted over his recent comments comparing U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to the Gestapo, which was the secret police force of Nazi Germany.

Walz was delivering the commencement address at the University of Minnesota Law School graduation Saturday when he went off on a political rant against the Trump administration’s efforts to deport illegal alien criminals and gang members from the United States.

“Donald Trump’s modern-day Gestapo is scooping folks up off the streets,” Walz wildly claimed, adding, “They’re in unmarked vans, wearing masks, being shipped off to foreign torture dungeons, no chance to mount a defense, not even a chance to kiss a loved one goodbye, just grabbed up by masked agents, shoved into those vans, and disappeared.”

“To be clear, there’s no way for us to know whether they were actually criminals or not because they refuse to give them trial. We’re supposed to just take their word for it,” Walz claimed.

House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) blasted Walz while posting a video of his shocking comments.

“This kind of rhetoric has led to a 413% increase in assaults against ICE officers. Our federal law enforcement officers willingly face threats every day while they protect our communities. Demonizing them only makes their jobs more dangerous. Shame on you, Governor,” Emmer wrote.

Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons furiously fired back at Walz in a statement: “It seems that Mr. Walz prefers violent criminal aliens are released into Minnesota’s communities. If the governor doesn’t like the laws, he’s free to advocate that Congress change them, but he should refrain from putting ICE officers in danger by likening them to one of the most appalling groups in history. Assaults against ICE officers are up over 400% from this time period last year, and part of that is because politicians like Gov. Walz are careless with their politically-motivated rhetoric. He should issue an immediate apology to the men and women protecting his communities.”

The Department of Homeland Security also slammed Walz for comparing ICE agents to the Gestapo and started rolling out the “receipts”:

“Governor Walz’s comments comparing ICE agents to the Gestapo is sickening. ICE agents put their lives and safety on the line to arrest criminal illegal aliens let into our country.🧵Below are just some of the criminal illegal aliens ICE has arrested in Tim Walz’s Minnesota,” DHS wrote.

Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota had his police using paintball guns to sh**t Minnesota residents if they broke curfew by being on their porches during the pandemic. Walz used his police as Gestapo against innocent Americans. Remember that next time he criticizes ICE.

Ironically, Walz has had close ties to communist China for years, which led to huge concerns by Republicans during the presidential campaign.
