The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

If the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, perhaps it’s safe to say that without the fear of the Lord, any other knowledge we attain is worthless.
We could gain all the knowledge in the world, achieve great fame and fortune, and anything else our hearts desire… but without the fear of God and a love for God, we really have nothing at all.
