Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

Humility is a quality God looks for in His people. Humility isn’t weakness, and it isn’t shameful. Rather, being humble is a lack of pride in ourselves, and it is acknowledging that we need God’s help. It also brings God’s blessing.
It’s so much better to be humble, and allow God to lift us up, instead of being prideful and then have to be demoted. May God help us each to have a humble spirit today.
