From the New York Post: A Wisconsin woman who killed and dismembered her lover during a meth-fueled tryst lunged at her own lawyer in a wild courtroom outburst Friday and had to be restrained by officers, stunning footage shows.
Taylor Schabusiness, 27 — who strangled boyfriend Shad Thyrion then cut off his corpse’s head and penis in February 2022 — is shown inexplicably screaming and trying to attack attorney, Paul Julka, during a court appearance.
At least five court deputies are seen rushing to hold her back before she can strike the attorney, who had been seated at a table next to her, according to footage published by Court TV.
The lawyer throws up his hands and shrugs with resigned nonchalance as she writhes on the floor next to him, surrounded by court officers.
Schabusiness, had already been sentenced to life in prison in September 2023 over the murder of her boyfriend, but was back in court after she allegedly attacked a prison guard earlier this year.
Journalist Collin Rugg shared a video montage, which includes Friday’s incident, as well as another time she attacked a different attorney, and her sentencing. Rugg also shared the following details:

This is the second time that 27-year-old Taylor Schabusiness has attacked her defense attorney. Back in 2023, she was caught on camera attacking her other lawyer at the time.
Schabusiness is serving life without parole for the m*rder of Shad Thyrion, a 24-year-old man who she strangled during s*x in his family home in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The woman previously admitted that she was “sucking” and cutting him apart at the same time, telling investigators she “liked” cutting his head off. Schabusiness dismembered him and spread his body parts throughout the home and car. Thyrion’s head was found by his mother in a bucket in their basement.

Below is the full video of the incident Friday morning. Schabusiness was first brought in, and was sitting quietly at the desk. Then her attorney comes to sit beside her. He is seen speaking to her, and she acknowledges him. Everything appeared perfectly normal, until she suddenly jumped up and flew into a rage, attacking him. About a half dozen security officers immediately pounced, knocking her to the floor and apprehending her.
