From the New York Post: President Trump yanked Secret Service protection for ex-Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, the federal agency confirmed Monday evening.

Mayorkas, who was the face of the previous White House’s lenient stance on illegal immigration, initially had his taxpayer-provided security detail extended for six months by then-President Biden before it was cut short by Trump this week.

The Secret Service would have been with Mayorkas through mid-July if it wasn’t scrapped.

“Per executive memorandum of the President, the protective detail for former Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has been discontinued,” a Secret Service spokesperson told The Post. “To ensure the integrity of our operations, we cannot comment on the specifics of our protective means and methods.”

Last week, President Trump announced he was cancelling Secret Service protection for Joe Biden’s two adult children, Hunter Biden and Ashley Biden.

Investigative journalist Laura Loomer shared the following Monday evening

The @SecretService details for Hunter Biden, Ashley Biden, and former DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas are supposed to officially end at midnight tonight.

Sources tell me that there was an internal battle in Secret Service with some of the agents who are Biden hold overs about whether or not they should comply with President Trump’s order to stop providing protection to these 3 individuals.

Secret Service has many compromised individuals who still work there.

@LoomerUnleashed is on the ground in South Africa and we are monitoring to make sure there is total compliance. Don’t comply, and you will be exposed. We will be exposing members of the Secret Service if they don’t comply with President Trump’s orders.
