From the Associated Press: CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) — Just over a day after blasting off, a SpaceX crew capsule arrived at the International Space Station on Sunday, delivering the replacements for NASA’s two stuck astronauts.

The four newcomers — representing the U.S., Japan and Russia — will spend the next few days learning the station’s ins and outs from Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams. Then the two will strap into their own SpaceX capsule later this week, one that has been up there since last year, to close out an unexpected extended mission that began last June.

Wilmore and Williams expected to be gone just a week when they launched on Boeing’s first astronaut flight. They hit the nine-month mark earlier this month.

After a series of delays, the two astronauts will finally be coming back to earth, thanks to Elon Musk’s SpaceX.

The SpaceX capsule carrying Wilmore, Williams and two other astronauts is expected to undock from the space station no earlier than Wednesday and splash down off Florida’s coast.

The entire operation was livestreamed on YouTube, as the SpaceX “Dragon” capsule successfully arrived and docked at the International Space Station at 12:05 am ET.

The 7 crew members aboard ISS were seen excitedly preparing for the hatch opening, and then finally welcoming the four new arrivals around 1:35 a.m. ET.

Below is the moment Crew 10 entered the ISS, and were welcomed with hugs all around from the other astronauts.

Below is a longer version of the welcome, followed by a short “press briefing” as the four new crew members each make remarks after arriving, and thank SpaceX for their safe journey.
