NEWS ALERT: Conservatives react after Trump boots Zelenskyy from White House

Reactions are pouring in on social media after the explosive scene that took place in the Oval Office Friday between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Zelenskyy had come to the White House and was expected to sign an agreement that would give the U.S. access to Ukraine’s critical minerals supply, to help repay the U.S. for providing financial support, ahead of a pending peace deal with Russia.

However, after about 30 minutes, the winds shifted and the whole thing went south and blew up in Zelenskyy’s face when he became confrontational and disrespectful to both President Trump and Vice President JD Vance.

No deal was signed. Instead, Zelenskyy was asked to leave, and the lunch that had been prepared in his honor was instead enjoyed by the White House staff.

Below are reactions being posted on social media by many of Trump’s cabinet members, along with other conservatives:

Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who was in the Oval Office as the whole thing went down, wrote, “Thank you @POTUS for standing up for America in a way that no President has ever had the courage to do before. Thank you for putting America First. America is with you!”

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem wrote, “I am so proud of our Commander-in-Chief. Thank you President @RealDonaldTrump and @VP for standing up for America. We will not tolerate the political games and disrespect of America. America is back.”

The Department of Defense Rapid Response team wrote, “Thank you @POTUS for standing up not only for America, but for the American warfighter🇺🇸.”

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth wrote, “Amen, Mr. President,” as he shared a copy of Trump’s statement.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard wrote, “Thank you @realDonaldTrump for your unwavering leadership in standing up for the interests of the American people, and peace. What you said is absolutely true: Zelensky has been trying to drag the United States into a nuclear war with Russia/WW3 for years now, and no one has called him on it. Thank you, Vice President @JDVance for speaking out so forcefully and clearly, about the necessity of diplomacy.”

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy wrote, “Thank you @POTUS for standing up for the United States. The American people will not stand for disrespect of our President, Oval Office, or our generous taxpayers. Peace is only accomplished through strength and our allies need to understand that.”

HUD Secretary Scott Turner wrote, “President Trump is standing up for forgotten Americans, not endless foreign wars. Biden’s legacy — increased homelessness, record high interest rates, all-time highs to buy a house, and Americans footing the bill. That ended January 20th. The American people are behind @POTUS.”

Interior Secretary Doug Burgum wrote, “Thank you @POTUS for standing strong for America while working to end the killing abroad.”

Agriculture Sec. Brooke Rollins wrote, “American leadership is back — in the Oval Office — and on the world stage. FEARLESS. BOLD. RELENTLESS. We will save America 🇺🇸💪🙏.”

Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) commented, “President Trump and Vice President Vance will put America First every single time. Putting Zelensky in his place while he disrespects the U.S. in the Oval Office is exactly what American leadership should look like. This is what We The People want to see!”

Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) wrote, “President Trump is fighting for PEACE around the world and is putting America First as our best negotiator—he’s the only one to get Russia to the table to consider a serious and lasting peace agreement with Ukraine. 🇺🇸.”

Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.) wrote, “Under this President— the greatest, freest, and most generous nation on Earth is putting America First. I’d encourage anyone who has a problem with that to reevaluate their priorities.”

Speaking to reporters outside the White House, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said, “I have NEVER been more proud of the President. I was very proud of JD Vance, standing up for our country… What I saw in the Oval Office was disrespectful, and I don’t know if we can ever do business with Zelenskyy again!”

“I think most Americans saw a guy they would not want to go into business with,” Graham said of Zelenskyy.

“WOW! Zelensky behaved SO BADLY in the Oval Office that he even lost Lindsey Graham,” noted journalist Nick Sortor.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) asked, “Is this the end of Zelensky’s presidency? He hitched his wagon to Biden and the deep state. They lost and now he doesn’t seem to be playing his cards well.”

Elon Musk replied, “Zelensky destroyed himself in the eyes of the American people.”

Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) responded, “Congress and President Biden contributed to this by sending the signal that Zelenskyy was somehow invincible, having devoted hundreds of billions of dollars to Zelenskyy’s efforts over the last three years.”

Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) wrote, “Thank God President Trump is back in office. He and his administration are doing an incredible job standing up for America’s best interests and fighting for our national defense, economic security and prosperity. Gone are the days of President Biden’s weak appeasement policies and global handouts. America is the greatest country in the world – no one gets to lecture our President in the Oval Office and disrespect America’s generosity. President Trump is making it clear the international community must do their fair share instead of solely relying on American taxpayers to foot the bill. President Trump is ushering in a new America-first era with a restoration of peace through strength.”

“Zelensky has been fired from his acting job,” Elon Musk mocked in another post.

Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Tex.) had some FIERCE words for Zelenskyy: “Go home and NEVER COME BACK!”

Trump assistant Dan Scavino posted a video clip of the Ukrainian ambassador with her head in her hands.

Scavino then posted a video of Zelenskyy’s departure, and mocked, “SEE YA!”

Trump assistant Harrison Fields also posted a video of Zelenskyy leaving the White House and wrote, “.@ZelenskyyUa disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for Peace.”
