The list is growing of patriotic Americans who had established and successful careers, or who had comfortably retired, and are leaving it all behind to answer the call and serve in the Trump administration.

Monday, successful podcast host and Army veteran Graham Allen announced that he too has accepted the call to serve, and will take a position within the Pentagon.

Allen is a former Army staff sergeant who served twelve years in combat, including two tours during Operation Iraqi Freedom.  A successful entrepreneur who grew up in Mississippi, Graham is the host of the “Dear America” podcast, a public speaker, and author of two books, “America 3:16” and “Dear America: Live Like it’s 9.12.”  He and his wife Ellisa have three children.

A transition has been happening behind the scenes, but on Thursday, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth mentioned Allen’s name in a video, which “let the cat out of the bag” sooner than Allen was expecting.

Therefore, Allen publicly confirmed on Monday that yes, he has accepted a position at the Pentagon, although he did not provide exact details on what his role will entail.

In an emotional, pre-recorded video, Allen said he hadn’t realized when he did his last podcast that it would be his last. Podcast hosts develop a strong connection to their listeners, and Allen is no different, as he clearly struggled with the thought of leaving the “Dear America” podcast that has become like family to him over the past 10 years.

However, he is responding to the call to help save the country.

He announced that Chad Prather will now serve as the host of Dear America.

Sharing his new Pentagon photo, Allen wrote, “As stated on the show this morning, I have been asked by @POTUS and @SecDef to serve my Country again. “When you get the call to serve your Country you answer it.” The American people voted for/demand change agents. They will get it! 🇺🇸.”

He added, “I am not going anywhere. The same freedom fighter you have come to know over the past decade is simply changing offices. I want to thank my family, the Dear America team, and @POTUS @SecDef and @WhiteHouse for giving me the honor to serve again. Welcome to the Golden Age!”

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth wrote, “Congratulations Graham! Looking forward to working together to serve the Country and the American warfighters🇺🇸.”

“Thank you @SecDef. It is an honor to serve again🇺🇸,” Allen replied.

“I wanted to say thank you for the literal thousands of messages of support🙏🏻. I also, again, want to thank @POTUS for his leadership and @SecDef for his trust!

“To my family and team, I love you all! I will fight the good fight, and I will not let you down. -Graham🇺🇸,” he wrote in another post.

Chad Prather released a statement and said, “Proud to be a part of the Dear America family. All the best to my brother Graham Allen.”

Others are congratulating Allen for his new role at the Pentagon.

Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino also just gave up his successful podcast to accept the role of Deputy Director of the FBI.
