From WBIR.com: A school shooter killed one student and wounded another before turning the gun on himself at Antioch High School in the Nashville area Wednesday morning, according to emergency officials.
A public information officer with the Metro Nashville Police Department confirmed the 17-year-old shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. One of the female victims was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she died, and another is reportedly “stable” after a bullet grazed her arm.
The shooting happened in the cafeteria, according to WSMV. Metro Nashville PD said the shooter shot two students and then shot himself.
Officials have not yet released the identity of the shooter, only saying it was a 17-year-old Black male student, armed with a pistol.
The following terrifying video was posted to social media. The person filming appears to be hiding in the food serving area, while a fight is heard taking place in the cafeteria.
Then three gunshots are heard.

One social media user, Marie Stringfellow, wrote, “This is the school my 2 oldest nephews graduated from. It was a little rough then, but Antioch is just downright dangerous and has been for several years. Democrats are destroying Nashville and surrounding areas. It’s sad to watch. 😞.”
