South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, nominee for Secretary of Homeland Security, is sitting for her confirmation hearing Friday morning.
Noem, 53, has been governor of South Dakota since 2019.
The hearing is being held before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
