Jennifer Davis, the wife of the late Army Master Sgt. Matthew Livelsberger who took his own life and blew up a Tesla Cybertruck in front of a Trump hotel in Las Vegas on New Year’s day, has now spoken out to share her side of the story in an exclusive interview.

Green Beret veteran Matt Tardio, who briefly served in the U.S. Army with Livelsberger, interviewed Davis on a podcast and released a video of the interview late Tuesday night.

Livelsperger, an active duty Green Beret who was home on leave from Germany, lived with his wife and baby daughter in Colorado Springs. He reportedly rented the Cybertruck in Denver, and drove it to Las Vegas, where police say he pulled in front of the Trump International Hotel, detonated explosives in the truck, and shot himself in the head.

Davis had first released a written statement on Monday, debunking some of the rumors that had circulated about her marriage to Livelsberger.

She insisted that they had a great Christmas together, and had no idea he was planning to take his own life.
