It was announced Monday that country singer Carrie Underwood will be among those performing at President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration next week.

Prior to Trump being sworn in, Underwood will perform “America the Beautiful” with The Armed Forces Chorus and the United States Naval Academy Glee Club, according to a screenshot of the program which was posted on social media.

“I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the Inauguration…I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future,” Underwood said in a statement.

But some on the far-left are having a meltdown over Underwood singing at Trump’s inauguration.

Underwood’s Instagram page is being attacked by liberals. Below are just some of the comments being posted:

Carrie really? Trump????

America the beautiful? Really? Gross, girl.

Girrrrrrrrrllllll you are CANCELLED 💅

Omg I was one of Carrie’s biggest fan from day one on idol. To hear she is performing for Trump i sadly have to walk away as a fan

So disappointed in Carrie Underwood.

Omfg really?? Trump??? I really can’t believe it, he offer you too much to say no to? Talk about lowering yourself to gutter standards.

Carrie, you’ve been canceled!

I used to be a fan but Carrie Underwood disgusts me now.

Spotify: look up Carrie Underwood, go to the three dots, select “don’t play this artist”

Super disappointed in you, as a woman, supporting Trump at his inauguration. I will not support you or your brand anymore. This feels super icky.

Blocked on Spotify. Happy to never hear another song.

The co-hosts of ABC’s ‘The View’ are in a tizzy. Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said she understands why Underwood agreed to sing, claiming that she will make a lot of money off it, as MAGA fans will rally behind her.

But co-host Joy Behar fumed, “She says ‘I love our country.’ How do you love your country and support and normalize somebody who was a convicted felon who really wants to destroy the country, in my opinion? I don’t understand how you say you love your country at the same time that you normalize this convicted felon.”

Co-host Sunny Hostin chimed in, saying, “I think art is art, and, you know, you have a right to perform where you want to perform…. I agree with you, Joy, I can’t sing a lick and I have not been asked, but if I were asked, it would be a hard no.”

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg said she respects Underwood’s decision to perform, but declared, “I won’t be watching.”

Liberal author John Pavlovitz wildly claimed, “.@carrieunderwood please explain how performing for his inauguration is compatible with your Christian faith. He’s also a convicted felon. Just what about this is Jesus taking the wheel?”

“Carrie Underwood (and all professed Christians) need to be held accountable for declaring to follow Jesus while supporting his antithesis in Donald Trump,” Pavlovitz fumed in another post.

The late Toby Keith performed at Trump’s first inauguration, in January 2017.
