President-elect Donald Trump just shot down all the rumors about the former and future First Lady, Melania Trump.
From the Daily Mail: Donald Trump revealed whether or not Melania Trump will be joining him in the White House for his second term.
The president-elect, in an interview with Time magazine for being its Person of the Year, addressed reports that the incoming first lady plans to stay in New York, where their son Barron attends New York University.
When Time asked if his wife would join him at the White House, Trump replied: ‘Oh yes.’
He pointed to how active she was in the final weeks of his presidential campaign.
‘She was, she was very, she actually became very active towards the end, as you saw with interviews. And she does—she does them well. People really watch. She’s very beloved by the people, Melania,’ Trump noted.
Trump also pointed out that his supporters adore Melania.
“They really love her. Actually, in many ways, when I make speeches, we love our First Lady. they have signs, we love our First Lady. No, she’ll be–she’ll be active, when she needs to be, when she needs to be,” he said.
Melania Trump accompanied her husband when he rang the bell at the New York Stock Exchange Thursday morning.
