From the New York PostDonald Trump prosecutor Fani Willis was dealt a massive blow Tuesday after her prosecution of the YSL gang — Georgia’s longest-running trial — ended with the acquittals of the last two defendants in the case.

A Fulton County jury Tuesday morning found Deamonte Kendrick — who raps under the name Yak Gotti — not guilty on all charges and also acquitted Shannon Stillwell of all charges except for one count of firearm possession by a convicted felon, according to a report by WSB-TV.

Stillwell and Kendrick were accused of murdering rival gang member Donovan Thomas Jr., aka “Big Nut,” during a drive-by shooting.

In October, co-defendant and Grammy winner Young Thug copped a surprise plea deal in the case accusing him of being the ringleader of the YSL (Young Slime Life) gang.

The report explains that Willis launched the case in 2022 and it has turned into the longest-running trial in Georgia history. Jury selection alone took 10 months, and testimony didn’t start until November 2023. The case started with 28 defendants, but many have already pleaded out.

Willis tried to prosecute Trump and ended up immersed in a scandal of her own, after being caught in an affair with Nathan Wade, who she had hired to lead the case against Trump.

Below is just some of the drama that unfolded over the YSL Trial:
