President-elect Donald Trump brutally mocked Kamala Harris on social media Saturday over the massive debt her campaign was left stuck with, following her defeat in the presidential election.
Although the Harris-Walz campaign received over $1 billion in donations, they reportedly blew it all in less than four months. Even worse, they spent money they didn’t have.
These people, who couldn’t manage finances for a four-month campaign, wanted to be in charge of the United States of America.
Politico’s Christopher Cadelago announced Wednesday, “Kamala Harris’s campaign ended with at least $20 million in debt, per two sources familiar. Harris raised over $1 billion and had $118 million in the bank as of Oct. 16.”

Trump posted a mocking statement on Saturday, noting that he had plenty of money left over from his campaign and jokingly offering to help them out, for the sake of ‘unity.’ He wrote:
“I am very surprised that the Democrats, who fought a hard and valiant fight in the 2020 Presidential Election, raising a record amount of money, didn’t have lots of $’s left over. Now they are being squeezed by vendors and others.
“Whatever we can do to help them during this difficult period, I would strongly recommend we, as a Party and for the sake of desperately needed UNITY, do. We have a lot of money left over in that our biggest asset in the campaign was “Earned Media,” and that doesn’t cost very much. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Clearly, Trump’s offer was made in jest. Based on the comments pouring in, no one is on board with the suggestion that Trump should bail out Kamala Harris’ campaign, although most seem to realize he was joking.
