Something interesting just happened this week since President-elect Donald Trump won the election on Tuesday. For the first time in several years, New York Attorney General Letitia James no longer has a “tweet” pinned to the top of her X page about her legal cases against Trump.

Having run for the office of New York Attorney General on the promise that she would “get Trump,” James has repeatedly gloated over the legal attacks she has launched against him, and has consistently pinned those posts to the top of her X/Twitter page.

Since February 16, 2024, James has kept a thread of posts pinned to the top of her X page, in which she had bragged about winning her case against Trump and his sons, all over far-fetched allegations that he misrepresented the value of his personal assets.

Trump had been ordered to pay a whopping $450 million, although bank officials who testified in the case insisted Trump had been a model customer and no complaints had been made against him.

When the case went before an appeals court in September, judges signaled skepticism about the case, and some judges suggested that AG James had overstepped by bringing the case against Trump. Although the appeals court has not yet ruled, many are expecting the case to be tossed.

“In a massive victory, we won our case against Donald Trump for engaging in years of incredible financial fraud to enrich himself. Trump, Donald Trump, Jr., Eric Trump, and his former executives must pay over $450 million in disgorgement and interest,” James had bragged in the post that has been pinned to the top of her page for the last 9 months.

Now, suddenly, it’s gone from the top of her page.

Below is the entire rant that is now far back on her X account, out of sight.
