From the Daily Mail: Terrifying footage showed a masked gunman firing from a high floor balcony of Atlanta’s luxurious Four Seasons hotel.
The unidentified shooter, who was wearing a pale-colored rubber mask, blasted a round of rapid fire towards people filming him from another balcony Tuesday afternoon.
A man and a woman stood filming him from the apparent safety of their high-rise apartment a few blocks away, watching in surprise as the shooter hurled furniture off the balcony.
But things took a dark turn when he whipped out a gun and began firing it towards them. The clip ended rapidly – likely as the people in the apartment ducked for cover, but shots could be heard ricocheting close to them.
Police and SWAT officers soon swarmed the scene, and were able to take the suspect into custody.
X user Bill Beard posted the video. Beard first announced, “There is an active shooter at the Four Seasons in Atlanta across from my building.”

Police are expected to give an update in a press release soon. This is a developing story… check back for updates.
During a police press conference, it was revealed that the gunman fired as many as three weapons, and was firing through walls and doors, including firing from the balcony outside.
A SWAT team finally burst into the hotel room and took the gunman into custody, after an hours-long standoff.
One Atlanta police officer received non-life-threatening injuries and has been taken to the hospital.
The gunman was identified as Jay Stevens Berger, age 70. Berger owns the apartment unit on the 33rd floor, and his rampage reportedly started following an altercation with staff at Four Seasons.
