REPORT: Speaker Johnson reveals Trump’s ‘little secret’ ahead of Election Day after Dems go into a frenzy

From Fox News: House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., on Monday told voters in Pennsylvania that the “little secret” former President Trump mentioned at his Madison Square Garden rally is a get-out-the-vote strategy, not something “diabolical.”

Democrats have been in panic since Trump teased Sunday that his “little secret” with Johnson would help Republicans keep the House of Representatives come Election Day. A New York Times article suggested that in the worst case scenario, Democrats feared Johnson would work with Trump to steal the election and stop the certification of results on Jan. 6. 2025, should Vice President Harris win.

“It’s nothing scandalous, but we’re having a ball with this. The media, their heads are exploding. ‘What is the secret?’” Johnson said Monday at an event for GOP congressional candidate Ryan Mackenzie, according to The Hill.

“It’s a thing we have about — it’s a get-out-the-vote. It’s one of our tactics on get-out-the-vote,” Johnson said in response to a voter’s question about Trump’s comment.

Jokingly, Johnson rubbed his hands together and added, “But they are convinced…”

Trump had teased about the “little secret” on Sunday, pointing to Johnson and saying, “We can take the Senate pretty easily, and I think with our little secret we’re going to do really well with the House, right? Our little secret is having a big impact… He and I have a secret. We’ll tell you what it is when the race is over.”

Democrats have been in a frenzied tailspin since Trump teased about the “little secret,” and are pushing out a number of wild and false claims about what it might be.

Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY), claimed in a CNN interview, “Trump hinted that he has some secret with Mike Johnson. I suspect Trump’s little secret plan with Mike Johnson is that when he loses, he tries to go to the House to throw out the Electoral College and have the House under Mike Johnson overturn this election.”

Radical Berkeley professor and former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich went into a tizzy, pushing out a false conspiracy theory of what the “little secret” might be.

“At Madison Square Garden, Trump spoke of “a little secret” he and Speaker Mike Johnson have that will impact the election. It could be that Johnson plans to block certification of the election. But if Dems win just 4 seats, Johnson won’t be speaker,” he claimed.

John Pavlovitz claimed, “They’re going to try another January 6th. They’re telling us. I hope we’re all ready.”

In an exclusive interview with The Hill, Johnson called the Democrats’ conspiracy theories “absolute nonsense,” and declared, “I’m a lifelong constitutional law attorney. We’re going to respect the law. We’re going to follow the constitution to a T. I’ve proven that over and over and over. So all this conjecture is actually hilarious to us, that people are apoplectic about this. It’s a — it’s one of our get out the vote strategies. That’s what we’re talking about. And it’s almost a tongue-in-cheek thing.”
